Much better days!

After writing about my shit day, I've had 2 good days since then. I've made a realization about another junk food trigger and that's work. I go to work and I'm fine because it's not like I can eat and drink whatever I want. I pack a good lunch with snacks and water, I eat breakfast before leaving, which is a huge improvement because I HATE breakfast, lol.

It's when I get home from work that I need that can of Coke. It's hot, I'm tired, and my feet hurt. I get home and then life at home can be chaotic with Erik rushing off to work, kids are home and both are talking to me at the same time and demanding supper. Animals are barking/meowing at me. Everyone is so happy to see me and all I want is just 10 minutes of quiet. So I grab a can of coke, sit down and let everyone yap at me while the cool, carbonated, caffeine-filled, nectar of the gods wash over me.

I have a problem, haha! But I'm hopeful that my new iced tea press and fruit teas that I recently bought will help squash that craving and help keep my water intake up. So far, I'm on my 3rd bottle of iced tea. The fruit taste isn't overwhelming but gets rid of that water taste of nothingness.

I'm feeling good!
